Bowhead Whale and the mutated whale encounter
The final main-island route takes place at the Volcano. It includes a whale fight followed by a mutated encounter.
Get the whale bait
The community bait table lists Fish Bucket for Bowhead Whale. A solo route describes providing five fish to the local quest giver before the fight.
Prepare for two encounters
The same player reports defeating the first whale near the volcano, retaining its body and throwing it into the volcano to trigger the follow-up. Keep recovery supplies for the second fight. This route was recorded for version 1.0.9; check current quest prompts before acting.
After the final fight
The route ends by collecting the tail and heading to the boat. Check the game has acknowledged completion before leaving your reward behind.
