Pufferfish boss

This page is intentionally thin. Public writeups disagree on whether the fight sits on desert or rocks. We will not pick a side until it is checked in-game.

What we do know from the rest of the game: the kill is not the unlock. Same pattern as the Giant Piranha — pick the distinctive drop and hand it to the quest NPC, or the next Radar marker never appears. Do not sell the trophy to make space.

Prep that is safe to say

• Come from the previous hand-in. You cannot skip here from the starter island.
• Bring a weapon. Later islands mix fishing with shooting.
• Leave inventory space for the quest drop.
• If the Radar vanished after a reload, check under signposts before restarting the save.

Island order: starter → forest → desert → rocks → volcano.
