Giant Piranha Skeleton: what to do after the fight
The skeleton is the Forest boss quest item. Keep it after defeating Giant Piranha and deliver it to the quest recipient before leaving.
Holding it is not the same as handing it in
A Steam player reported carrying the skeleton while the NPC kept requesting leeches. Replies recommend checking the recipient and using the give/throw action, default Q. Check your bindings if that key has changed.
Check the actual quest state
- Confirm the item in hand is the skeleton, not a meat piece.
- Approach the quest recipient and deliver the item.
- Finish the conversation and check whether the next destination is available.
If delivery still fails, record what the NPC says and your game version before changing the save. The discussion documents a hand-in problem; it does not establish a universal bug fix or a recovery method for a lost skeleton.
