How to Fish: bow location, aiming and upgrades

Look for the bow merchant on a mini island. An October player report describes a small castle-like island with a bow and euro merchant. This is a landmark description, not a fixed map coordinate or a numbered main island.

Where to look for the bow

Explore the new mini islands with your radar available. The October 18 report places the merchant at a “mini castle”; use that visual clue when checking a landing. We have not confirmed a guaranteed spawn route or current bow price. Read the merchant's offer before spending your euros.

How to aim the bow

Players asking about missed shots on October 18 received two useful suggestions: shoot before moving, and consider a scope or laser. The attachment suggestion is a community report, not an official aiming tutorial.

Our suggested practice routine:

  1. Start with a stationary target and stop moving before releasing a shot.
  2. Watch where the shot lands, then adjust your aim one change at a time.
  3. If you have an aiming attachment, compare the same shot with it equipped before spending on further upgrades.

This routine is practice advice, not a measured arrow-drop formula. We have not verified a universal aim offset, controller binding or damage breakpoint.

Upgrades, skins and maximum stats

A September 28 player had reached 475 damage and 2.75 speed and still saw further upgrades. Those numbers are not maximum stats. The thread contains no confirmed cap. Official patch 1.1.2 added two bow skins; it did not publish a damage table.

Why did an attachment disappear?

An October 8 player reported losing a scope after death. That report has no verified fix. Before buying a replacement, inspect the bow and attachment state in your current save. Do not treat a purchase as proof that an attachment will persist through every death.
